Craig has been thoroughly immersed in Entrepreneurship dating back to a very young age, creating various businesses over the years, and watching them flourish. Being a “military brat” and moving often as a child forced Craig to develop his outgoing traits early on.
He was often tasked with meeting new people and fostering new relationship at a quicker pace than most of his peers. This led to him being well known throughout the community. From shoveling snow in the winter, to mowing lawns in the summer, Craig has always loved the idea of being his own boss. The fire within was ignited when Craig asked his parents for certain things, the reply was “find a way to make money so you can buy it for yourself.” Selling candy and making CDs/tapes for peers and sometimes elders deemed to be very lucrative for Craig as he continued to matriculate through school.
His charismatic and playful tone gave him the edge over his peers as he was very easily likeable and easy to talk to. In high school, he was given the opportunity to promote most of the local teen parties before starting his own marketing and promotion company on the campus of Florida A&M University in the Fall of 2011. That same company would go on to become widely known throughout the city of Tallahassee and it started to show through the caliber of events that transpired as a direct result of the popularity.
From ACC and National Championship celebration parties to concerts with world-renowned recording artists, Craig had his hands full in college. Also in 2011, Craig was granted the opportunity to intern at an International Business Complex in China where even more skills were acquired.
In the midst it all, Craig was fortunate enough to become a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. where he was able to show his skills on a fraternal and more national level. After obtaining the role of Public Relations and Events Chair, Craig was able to showcase his entrepreneurial skills a larger setting raising over $20,000 from just one event. In all, Craig is able to use his wit and gift of gab to positively influence those around him as he continues to inspire today as the Executive Director of TABEE.
